Invest in Timeless Styeh
and no one ever knew until now :)! Dressing on a budget is something we all do, but I suggest this....Begin to invest in a nice pair of slacks, a blouse, a blazer, and nice under garments ( because you need a great foundation)! I was once told that the quality of fashion years ago was much better than today! And on that note....I encourage, again, vintage shopping! The vintage pieces I have consist of multiple leather coats, scarves, skirts, and jewelry! These pieces are of grade A quality and are timeless, pieces I will have forever!
Well guys, splurge a little more and invest a little more often; so you can create a great look of timeless style! Because timeless style is forever! INVEST!" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5489547148801140866" border="0">Shopping with Hollywood over the weekend gave me a thought......Splurging from time to time on items in your wardrobe is an investment?! Thoughts?? Let's Think....By spending a little more sometimes on an item your investing in fit, style, fabric, plain overall quality! Now, that makes sense! Yes, I know we are in a recession, but there are things we should spend more money on which would = making an investment! If you are willing to spend $250-$450 on a tattoo, then why not carry out the same mentality with your wardrobe? I promise if you begin to invest in your wardrobe you will have these items FOREVER!
I'm not taking anything away from the less expensive stores or brands, but usually after minimal washes it's time to buy something new! I bought a pair of $250 pointed toed kitten heels by ce' fou shoo in a local boutique about 3 or 4 years ago and they are still in mint condition! Oh, and did I forget oh so comfortable! I will have these shoes forever ! Over the weekend BCBG had an awesome promotion : Spend $300 and get $100, although I didn't purchase anything Hollywood definetly did! A grey, black, and blue dress that could be worn in ALL seasons ! That speaks volumes which means she is getting her monies worth! And the second item, the cutest little grey and black two toned knit skirt that can be worn high waisted or lower as a pencil skirt. Investments were made and the trendsetter majorly encouraged ;)!
Now, don't think you have to buy quality at regular price, hit the sale and or clearance rack! Thats what I do -----> and no one ever knew until now :)! Colur,Texture,Pattern Choice 102
I absolutely love to see men in color! Although the winter seems to force us to wear where darker colors its definitely okay to wear some color with those dark neutrals. Color and Patterns are trendy chic ways to spice up your winter look! Purple , white, green, yellow, red, and brown are some of the bold colors men are rocking this winter season. Plaids, tile print, argyle, and stripes are the sophisticated interesting way to pull your outfit together for the winter too! Oh and lets not forget about the luxurious textures, absolute MUST HAVES, leather, velvet, and mohair. They are warm and STYLISHHHHH!
Grey/Metallic
Eye popping and visually interesting for an outfit....try a scarf with metallic threads or a blazer with a metallic weave.
